What is the difference between Shwetambar and Digambar in Jain religion ?

    Shwetambar wears WHITE clothes, while Digambar does not wear any cloth.

    People who follow jainism are of two types. Shwetambar - who wear white clothes(they cover their nostrils with the same cloth).This is because they are cautious that there would be no harm to microbes and insects when they breathe-in. Digambar - doesn\'t wear clothes. Through this they mean to say that they would not like to even harm plants.
